We are looking for a dedicated Strategic Procurement Specialist to manage regional negotiations and oversee our Raw Materials category. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a continuous, reliable, and efficient supply of essential materials, supplies, and services to support our operational demands while building strong partnerships with suppliers across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize regional negotiations for the assigned Raw Materials category to achieve competitive commercial agreements.
- Ensure the continuous supply of raw materials, supplies, and services aligned with organizational needs.
- Perform market analyses and monitor consumption trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Manage purchase orders from generation to fulfillment, closely tracking delivery lead times.
- Develop and consolidate relationships with strategic suppliers, driving supplier evaluation and performance.
- Verify supplier compliance with required technical specifications and quality standards.
Mandatory requirements
- Solid professional background in strategic procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in commercial negotiations, contract management, and supplier relations.
- Strong analytical capacity to conduct market research, monitor metrics, and review consumption data.
- Ability to manage purchase orders, monitor logistics lead times, and enforce quality requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Differentials
- Prior experience managing the Raw Materials category at a regional or multi-site level.
- Familiarity with vendor development programs and supplier performance management systems.
- Knowledge of modern procurement software or ERP systems.
